Sawtooth Concepts

In the summer of 2019 I got the opportunity to internship at Scentsy during my senior year of high school. I was on the UX/UI team and one of my projects during the entirety of my internship was working with Scentsy's sister company Sawtooth Concepts to develop a website for them. I started with very basic wireframes to give them a sense of what the website would look like, after that I was given a couple of images and some placeholder text to create mockups of the website. Once those designs were approved I used WordPress to create the website mostly using plug-ins to layout everything in a simple manner and occasionally needing to code some aspects of the website to make them work correctly. During this whole time I was consistenly checking in with my supervisor to make sure I was going in the correct direction and keeping to the deadline. In the end I created them a website and showed it to them during a meeting with the owner of the company and he had some minor changes he wanted but overall he loved the website.
